Holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from McGill University and a Master of Music Performance from the University of North Texas. He is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Toronto in trumpet performance. An experienced orchestral player, Geoff is the former Co-Principal Trumpet with the Monterrey Symphony Orchestra in Monterrey, Mexico, and has performed with the trumpet sections of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, National Arts Centre Orchestra, the Canadian Brass, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and the State Orchestra of Mexico. And freelanced as Lead Trumpet with Norwegian Cruise Lines.

Has has adjudicated at the International Trumpet Guild Conference and the Golden Horseshoe Music Festival, and presented masterclasses at universities in Toronto, Monterrey, and Memphis. Formerly on the faculty of Mohawk College, University of Monterrey, Dallas Conservatory of Music.
